1th VERSION OF THIS AIELLO’S DEMO-CD AS A SOLOIST (1th VERSION IN THE YEAR 2008, SEE UP) AND UNLIKE THE FIRST ONE, AS THE TITLE SUGGESTS, THIS INTERPRETATION IS ALMOST COMPLETELY BASED ON IMPROVISATION “ON” THE FIFTH, INSTEAD OF FOLLOWING A REAL SCORE FOR DRUM WRITTEN AND PROVIDED WHIT LITTLE IMPROVISATION TO SOUND “WITHIN” THE 9TH SYMPHONY.

Drum Improvisation on the Symphony no. 5....was conceived, written and performed by Massimo Aiello. Drum played on recorded base: the orchestra track was taken from the Azzurra Music Catalogue: CD Code: CA111 (P&C 1997  Azzurra Music ) and is performed by Camerata Cassovia directed by Walter Attanasi.

My "intrusion" with the drum in Beethoven's great opera, other than a studious source, is intended as a thank you to this man for his contribution to mankind, both on a musica level as well as expressing values such as 

love, justice and liberty. I freed these things should be shared. These are things to be shared with all. I hope that I have not "disturbed" the opera too much. Enjoy ....
